Johnny Depp opens the door to Disney and 'Pirates of the Caribbean': "Everything is possible"

Johnny Depp and controversies have always been used to go hand in hand from some time ago until now. Above all, as a result of the trial against his ex-partner, Amber Heard, who accused him of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, sometimes even under the influence of alcohol and drugs. A famous trial that, however, he won.

With this demand from Amber, the entire world moved away from Johnny Depp, and with him the projects that included his figure, including a world as immense as that of Disneywith whom he had already participated in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. That made them also close the door. But, with the passage of time, and also the end of the trial, peace seems to be a reality, and that door that was closed one day is now open for both parties.

In this way, Johnny Depp could return to what has been one of his most famous characters, that of Jack Sparrow. This has been assured by a source close to the actor to the magazinePeople’: “Everything is possible”, he began by pointing out, to later conclude with a phrase that undoubtedly serves as a breath of air for those who dream of the return of this character: “If it’s the right project, it will”.

An agreement with Disney is possible

This does not mean that he will be Sparrow again, but rather that he is open to a possible project embodying this character, but also with a view to other jobs that he thinks would suit the interpreter. And it is that a former Disney executive already warned him previously: “I absolutely believe that after the verdict, ‘Pirates’ is poised for a reboot with Johnny as Captain Jack back on board.. There is too much box office potential for a beloved character deeply embedded in Disney culture.”

Now, the most complicated thing is missing, a priori, that Disney and Johnny Depp sign an agreement that seems, above all, expensive, as a result of the “betrayal” that the actor felt. But, now, he does not lack support, since he also received the support of the producer of the saga, Jerry Bruckheimer: “You would have to ask Disney. I can’t answer that question. I really do not know. I would love to have him in the movie”.
