And it was done to us… This Thursday, April 13, Jorja Smith shared her new song “Try Me” with the production of the female duo DAMEDAME, all in a track that is characterized by its intense instrumental full of emotion, which of course, fits perfectly with the voice of the English.
As we said, the background of this theme is quite inspiring. In an official statement, Smith mentioned that this track is a statement about putting up with exposure to the world; stand strong in the face of harsher opinions that are made to ourselves from the outside.
“(The inspiration comes from) being in the public eye, it’s about having to exposing yourself to a world that has many opinions“said the singer. The video is just as significant, showing us a dance that represents how other people’s views and opinions about us are out of our control.
