The weeks pass and the adventure continues for many candidates from Best Pastry Chef. Last week, it was David who won the blue apron after bluffing Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. In this Wednesday, October 4 issue, participants baked on a theme very hot: Love at first sight in the tent. During the first test of the evening, the chef who had recently become a father asked them to combine two cakes to make one. Thus, they were able to discover an apricot nun, a Forezienne (black forest and tropézienne tart), a waffle croissant, a baklava cheesecake, or even a donut macaroon. In short, they showed imagination, but did not all succeed in seducing the members of the jury. During this unprecedented event, Ninon, Fanny and Thibaut were Top, while Ahmet, Émilie and Hafidou were named Flop.

For the Mercotte technical test, once again the candidates had to deal with something new. They did not have a recipe in front of them and had to follow (and listen) carefully to the instructions of Cyril Lignac and Mercotte who were suffering in front of them. They therefore had four hands to make an arabesque heart, while the candidates only had two hands to do the same thing in 1h30! Result, Clémence, Ninon and Émilie arrived at the top of the podium. Then for the last test, the pastry enthusiasts had to reveal their cake fantasy. And some really gave everything to be chef Pierre-Jean Quinonero’s favorite. Between handcuffs, whips, a diamond, a mask, a jacuzzi, a naughty dice… It was hot in the tent of the Best Pastry Chef. Eventually, It was Julia who won the Chef’s Favorite. At the end of the broadcast, Fanny wins the blue apronand Ahmet leaves the competition.

The Best Pastry Chef : who left the show after the duel in The secret kitchen from Mercotte Wednesday October 4, 2023?
In the second part of the evening, Mercotte found Christophe Renou in Mercotte’s secret kitchen. Last week, Richard lost his duel against Monique, leaving the competition for good. This week, So it was Ahmet who joined Monique. After a duel where they gave everything, it was the latter who managed to keep her place, and who will meet the next person eliminated for a new test!
