CDMX.- Juan Osorio plans to relaunch Aventurera in honor of Carmen Salinas, who passed away on December 9, 2021.
“I am very happy, I want to replace Aventurera and apart there will be a surprise very soon. The work is very popular and is a tribute to Carmen Salinas. I think it will turn out very well, I have a lot of faith and affection for the project for whom it is dedicated “said the producer in an interview.
The play is an adaptation based on the Mexican film of the same name. Osorio owns the rights to the piece, so he wants to pay tribute to Salinas, who was an essential part of the success of the project.
“Any actress who wants to play Carmen Salinas has to fill very big shoes,” said Osorio, who also produces the telenovela El Amor Invencible, which will premiere in February.
Since the play’s debut (October 28, 1997), Salinas has not stopped working playing the role of Rosaura, a madrota who forces a young woman to prostitute herself in a place called Kumbala.
Accompanied by his girlfriend Eva Daniela, Osorio walked the red carpet of Aladdin, the Musical, at the Telcel Theater, where they held 450 performances.
Although they are 37 years apart, the producer will give her the engagement ring.
