A memorial ceremony open to all will be held in front of the home of his father, Elvis Presley, in Graceland, Tennessee, on Sunday, January 22.

Less than a week after her death at the age of 54, Lisa Marie Presley will be honored at a public ceremony at the home of her father, Elvis Presley in Graceland.

According to a family statement, published on the Graceland websitethis memorial service will be held on the lawn of the famous property starting at 9 a.m. (local time) on Sunday, January 22 in Memphis, Tennessee.

“In lieu of flowers, the family encourages anyone wishing to send something, to do so in the form of a donation to the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation,” the family said in the statement.

It was in this same Graceland home that the “King” was found unconscious in August 1977, and died of a heart attack at the age of 42.

Urgently hospitalized

The only child of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley died on January 13. She had been rushed and then hospitalized in Los Angeles after a cardiac arrest.
