The Marseille rapper has launched a contest on Instagram and is giving his community until Thursday May 4 to submit a cover proposal for his new album, scheduled for June.
A 28th album in preparation for Jul. The Marseille rapper announced this Monday evening on Instagram the release of a new project called That’s when it goes outwith a rather particular concept.
As for his album At the Machinereleased in 2020, the artist is once again calling on his community, via a competition, to create the cover for this future album, which is scheduled for release in June.
Jul’s fans have until Thursday, May 4 in the evening to submit their cover proposal to the following email address: [email protected]. The winning cover will be announced by the artist on Instagram on Friday the 5th at noon.
“The team, I can’t wait to share the June album. I prepared some bastos for you!!! It will be called ‘C’est quand qu’il s’extinction?’ I need you for the cover of the album. I let you send me your covers and we choose the final cover together here'”, he wrote on Instagram.

If for now Jul has given no clue as to the guideline of his future album When is it going off?the Marseille rapper however confided during a live on the Twitch platform that this new opus would be summery and would include “innovation”.
“I’m preparing an album… there’s still innovation. This summer I’ll put you well”, he had declared during of a live in April.
Always very productive, Jul has released two projects in recent months: his studio album White Heart in December 2022 as well as a new 100% free mixtape, Free album vol.7 last March.
