What is actually going on with Lucas Cordalis? The singer seems to have completely disappeared in the jungle camp. Oliver Pocher already sees him clearly offside.
Lucas Cordalis (55) needed a total of three attempts before he was finally able to move into the jungle camp. In 2021 there was only one replacement show in Hürth due to the corona pandemic, and the following year the singer had to cancel his participation at the last minute due to corona disease. The fans’ expectations of Daniela Katzenberger’s (36) husband were all the greater. After all, Lucas has big footsteps to fill: his father Costa Cordalis (75, †2019) won the jungle crown in 2004 in the very first “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”
So far, however, the performance of the musician is very disappointing. The viewers hardly get anything from Lucas because he behaves surprisingly reserved. The other jungle camp candidates have provided more entertainment so far. Oliver Pocher (44) is also dissatisfied with the entertainment qualities of his celebrity colleague. “Lucas Cordalis feels just as present as last year in the jungle camp!” He blasphemes in the RTL interview.

However, the comedian isn’t particularly surprised by Lucas’ lack of presence at camp. “He’s not the most entertaining either. I don’t know why you should, want or need to have it with you again,” he puts the Mallorcan by choice through the wringer. Oli doesn’t think fans will see much more from Lucas in the coming days. “Maybe something else is coming, but I think he’s just doing his time there,” the TV presenter speculates.
Lucas was already the clear favorite for the jungle crown in advance. So should he bury his title dreams now? If Oli has his way, the musician has already blocked his chances of winning. “We won’t hear anything great or that he’s talking about something exciting privately. Maybe there will be another little story. But I don’t think it’s anyone fighting for the title,” he says with conviction.
Djamila Rowe, on the other hand, gives significantly more private insights. The jungle camp candidate admits what a difficult childhood she had and that she often had to starve in the past.
