As early as December, foreign media reported on an upcoming summer transfer from Daichi Kamada to Borussia Dortmund – BVB agreed with the player on a free transfer. It’s not quite that far, it turned out shortly afterwards. Clubs like Benfica Lisbon and FC Barcelona are still hoping for the bid.
Borussia is now going on the offensive. As ‘Sport1’ reports, there was a meeting in Dortmund yesterday: Kamada’s advisors Roberto Tukada and Thomas Kroth and BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl took part in the conversation.
The conversation was already about concrete numbers, black and yellow also underpinned his desire for a free summer commitment. According to ‘Sport1’, Kamada can well imagine a move to BVB, Dortmund currently have the best cards in poker.
The attacking midfielder’s contract in Frankfurt is expiring, and the 26-year-old Japanese has so far ignored the offer to extend it – and it will probably stay that way.
