Sony Pictures already seems to have an estimate of when production will begin on the new Karat Kid, which has given a lot to talk about since its announcement.
According to the insider Charles Murphythe studio is focusing its efforts to begin principal photography in April 2024.
Montreal, a city in Canada, would have been chosen as the production headquarters.
Before production begins, the studio still has to decide who the new child star of the franchise will be. There is an ongoing global campaign looking for a young Chinese man – or descendant – to play the role.
