Holstein Kiel does not want to let their center forward Holmbert Fridjonsson move to Sweden. Asked by the ‘Kieler Nachrichten’ about Hammarby IF’s interest, Kiel’s sporting director Uwe Stöver replies: “We haven’t received an offer, but we’ve already told the player and his agent that we don’t want to give up Holmbert during this transfer window.”
Previously, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported that Fridjonsson is in Hammarby’s sights. In Sweden, the current transfer window is open until the end of March.
