What began as a windy rumor from Spain apparently has more truth than initially assumed: Eduardo Camavinga could switch from Real Madrid to Borussia Dortmund in exchange for Jude Bellingham.
As ‘Sky’ reports, citing its own research, the royal club is considering implementing such a deal. The idea came up to transfer Camavinga and 100 million euros to BVB.
Real are currently looking for ways to make a summer transfer from Bellingham cheaper and also give Dortmund a certain incentive to prefer an offer from Madrid to other clubs. The exchange idea for Camavinga is the result and a possible scenario. Spanish media had already reported on the possibility of such a deal earlier this year.

Of course, a lot still has to happen before such a transfer can actually take place. Especially since ‘Sky’ also reports that it is unclear whether BVB was even informed about the Madrilenians’ considerations – let alone is willing to accept such an offer.
And then there’s the player side. Bellingham is not only courted by the royal team, but also by various top clubs. It has not been said whether the 19-year-old would even want to move to Madrid. It’s also unclear whether 20-year-old Camavinga would be willing to go the other way. In 2021, the Frenchman switched from Stade Rennes to Real for around 30 million euros.
