Christopher Judge, the voice actor behind Kratos and also the man who set the world record for the longest The Game Awards speech in December, has been pretty vocal on Twitter lately after it was suggested online that Dave Bautista would play Kratos in Amazon’s upcoming God of War -series.
Many Judge fans have taken to Twitter to side with the voice actor, including Roger Clark (Arthur in Red Dead Redemption 2), who said that people don’t know how motion capture in games works and think it’s all done in a booth.
Judge wrote a follow-up tweet later in the day in which he wrote “Don’t get me wrong, I think Dave Bautista is great, but…”implying that he would rather be the one to bring the character to life in the film adaptation.
We have yet to hear any news about who will play Kratos or Atreus in the God of War series, but it seems difficult to imagine the former character with anything other than Christopher Judge suiting up.
