In a survey, the Japanese game magazine Famitsu asked Japanese game developers and industry professionals what they considered to be the best games of 2022, and then compiled a list above the top 20 positions. This is how it looked:

First place does not surprise anyone; even though we at Gamereactor didn’t share it (but put Elden Ring in 2nd place) it goes in line with other gaming media, where according to a survey Elden Ring was average most prized game during the year, and also won the game of the year award at the Game Awards.
