Toni Kroos will end his career at Real Madrid. In his podcast ‘Einfach mal Luppen’, the 33-year-old midfielder confirms:“I’m going to end my career here, but I’m not sure when yet. You have the word and you know that the word counts.” The five-time Champions League winner’s contract expires next summer.

So far it is unclear whether Kroos will extend his contract with the royals again: “There is no final decision yet.” However, Kroos speaks “of a clear trend” and announces an imminent decision: “I think it will be relatively soon.” In Madrid, they are eagerly awaiting a possible extension, after all, the 2014 world champion is still a top performer.
