Ahmed Kutucu would like to play for FC Schalke 04 again in the future. In an interview with ‘Der Westen’, when asked if he dreams of returning to the Royal Blues, the 22-year-old states: “Naturally. I love the club. I grew up in the city. I spent eleven years there, almost all of my youth. I would like to play in front of these fans again.”

Born in Gelsenkirchen, he moved to Basaksehir in Turkey in the summer of 2021. The Turkish first division club loaned Kutucu to SV Sandhausen in early 2022 for match practice. The striker has been on the pitch in 13 of 17 league games this season, but has only been directly involved in two goals. The right foot can certainly imagine continuing to play in Germany: “Anything can happen.”
