We can turn your Spring Festival into a campaign event
Podemos celebrates this Saturday its Spring Partyan annual event that this year becomes another act of its campaign for the European elections of June 9.
This year, the chosen venue is Auditorium of the Thirteen Rosesa venue in the Madrid neighborhood of Santa Eugenia whose title evokes one of the symbols of the anti-Franco fightthe seven young Republican women who were shot in August 1939, five months after the end of the Civil War.
The central event, at 12:00 p.m., will be a rally in which the party’s general secretary, Ione Herb; its general secretary and head of the list to the Europeans, Irene Montero; and other members of the candidacy, such as Isa Serra, Pablo Fernandez and Mar Cambrollé.
In the afternoon, the former general secretary of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, will participate in a round table on geopolitics. Other tables will revolve around European Union migration pacthe feminism, peace and monarchysome of the recurring themes of the party’s speech.
