Leicester City have a new manager. As the Foxe announce, Dean Smith will take over the Premier League club until the end of the current season. The 52-year-old will lead the training sessions starting Tuesday. Before joining Leicester, Smith coached Norwich City, Aston Villa and Brentford FC, among others.

The Englishman says about his new job: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to lead the team in these final weeks of the season.” And further: “Our first task is to restore confidence and instill faith in the team (in relegation, ed.) and I’m looking forward to working with the players this week.”
