This week is to be followed with attention for tech lovers. The giants of the sector are all gathered in Las Vegas for CES 2023, the largest exhibition dedicated to new technologies. On Xboxygen, it’s mainly televisions that we follow, and LG has just unveiled its 2023 OLED lineup.

The new OLED range is unveiled

Unsurprisingly, we were able to discover the A3, B3, C3, G3 and Z3 (8K), OLED televisions that follow the range logic of previous years. The A3 remains a separate product since it features a 60 Hz panel, while the B3, C3, G3 and Z3 have 120 Hz panels and are HDMI 2.1 compatible.

They thus support Dolby Vision up to 4K at 120 Hz, Dolby Atmos, VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia’s G-Sync.

This year again, LG OLED TVs should offer gamers a top-flight experience. The very famous LG C2 will give way to the LG C3, and we can’t wait to see the improvements made by the latter.

With the exception of the A3 and B3, the 2023 OLED TVs feature the a9 Gen 6 processor while the entire range benefits from the redesign of WebOS 23.

The LG G3 stands out

Despite the arrival in 2022 of QD-OLED televisions, LG proves that WOLED panels still have a bright future ahead of them. The LG Z3, C3 and G3 indeed benefit from the Brightness Booster Max, which allows you to enjoy better brightness. This is particularly the case with the G3 which, through the 55, 65 and 77 inch models, displays up to 70% higher brightness than “classic” OLED televisions such as the B2 or the B3.

According to
FlatpanelsHD
, the G3 would be able to display a peak light of 1800 nits (2100 nits in dynamic mode), and 235 nits in full screen; this represents an undeniable advantage compared to the G2 of 2022 which generally displays 930 nits in peak and 166 nits in full screen.

The TVs will be launched in the spring while pricing will be announced soon.

If the news around televisions interests you, stay tuned as Samsung and Sony will soon unveil their 2023 models.
