Dieter Schaad is dead. The actor became famous through his role as Dr. Manfred Pauli famous in the ARD series “Lindenstraße”.

Cologne/Wiesbaden – In the role of Dr. Manfred Pauli in the ARD cult series “Lindenstraße” Dieter Schaad became known. The actor died “suddenly and unexpectedly” at the age of 96. His agency confirms the actor’s death. Accordingly, Schaad died on February 4th, reports 24RHEIN.

“We mourn the loss of a great actor and a warm-hearted person who was interested and committed into old age,” said an emotional Facebook post from early February. In the late 1980s, Schaad’s role as Dr. Manfred Pauli in the ARD soap opera “Lindenstraße”. He returned for a guest appearance in episode 494 in 1995. dr Manfred Pauli was Dr. Ludwig Dressler and at the same time the affair of Elisabeth Dressler.

In addition to his appearances in Lindenstraße, he was in front of the camera in over 120 film and television productions. There are also several theater productions, according to his agency.
