He launched: “We would like to generalize things in the country, but I look at our private companies there have been very few strikes, almost none.”
The president acknowledged that there had been “opposition in the street” and violence “led by an extreme” but “that’s not France”. “The country is moving forward and the country continues to create,” he defended.
