Los dinosaurs cool It doesn’t matter when you read this. Its ability to dislocate our jaws has remained intact since the first time we saw Jurassic Park. The saga has amazed us (with its pluses and minuses) since then and video games did not want to be left behind.
there are many dinosaur games and even more so that they include them… even if they are not the protagonists. A complete roster could have up to 30-40 games without getting too ruffled, but instead I present to you five proposals that in 2023 they are fully capable of stealing dozens of hours, even hundreds.
The Isle
I open the list with my favorite proposal: The Isle. I’m not afraid to say it’s the best video game dinosaur experience you can throw at your face…or the library. It is a video game open world multiplayer PVPVE in which we have to survive with the species we choose.
Survival has several important points: hunting and avoiding being hunted, maintaining a diet based on hydration and the consumption of different organic elements according to our species, maintaining resistance, etc. Each species has its growth phases, that we can see them in real time while we play. We can also suffer bleeding and fractures.
- The Isle is available in early access on PC (Steam). I do NOT recommend the base game, but the Beta version called EVRIMA that you can select from the video game properties.
Jurassic World Evolution 1 y 2
Just last month (June) PlayStation Plus gave away Jurassic World Evolution 2 for all PS4 and PS5 subscribers! If Jurassic Park didn’t make it clear to you that setting up a dinosaur park is a bad idea, then you can try your luck with these video games.
We are before two videogames based on the construction and management of a dinosaur park. The complex thing is not to build the park or manage the finances, but that the bugs do not do their thing at some random moment. Spoiler: they do it and it gets messy in a matter of seconds. They appear to be video games to play quietly, but it’s a trap.

Ark: Survival Evolved
We have two options that allow us to be and manage a dinosaur park. Let’s go halfway: live with them… although that thing about living together is taken with a lot of tweezers. Ark: Survival Evolved is an open world PVPVE survival video game that challenges us to get ahead on an island full of threats after appearing with nothing at a random point.
And what do dinosaurs have to do with all this story? They may be our worst nightmare or weapons of mass destruction. Taming the biggest and most ferocious dinosaurs is not an easy task, but it is a very effective strategy to destroy bases, buildings and destroy both groups of players and other dinosaurs. LEGO Jurassic World
If it exists and it’s cool, it has a LEGO version. We have all seen the LEGO versions of the Jurassic Park dinosaurs at some time in our lives, but not everyone knows the video game. It is a game of third person action adventure that adapts the stories of the first four films… but taking some licenses and introducing his characteristic humor.
Each movie has 5 unique levelswhich add up to a total of 20 in the final game, and a good number of unlockable characters… including even 20 species of dinosaurs. All this while we live the history of the movies and solve very original puzzles.

Second Extinction
And we finish the list with a proposal of pure action. You couldn’t miss an FPS! We are facing an experience essentially cooperative in which we have to hunt some mutated dinosaurs They have conquered the land. Just like the dinosaurs, the eligible characters have their own abilities and weapons, all designed to tear the beasts apart.
During missions, which have requirements eliminate certain mutated species, we can request packages of ammunition, health and other resources. As we kill bugs and complete missions, the alert level of the bugs increases in certain areas… which become real prehistoric hells. It features crossplay, horde mode, and matchmaking.
