Mulheim.
From Monday there will be fewer buses in Mülheim’s school traffic. The Ruhrbahn is canceling the second vehicle on several lines – NRW is no longer paying.

From Monday, January 9th, there will no longer be any additional emergency buses (e-cars) in the Mülheim school traffic. The Ruhrbahn is currently reporting this. Up until the Christmas holidays, they were increasingly used on various electric vehicle lines in Essen and Mülheim. This additional offer has expired. Because for 2023 the state has decided not to provide any more funds for additional school transport, according to the Ruhrbahn.

It’s all about the so-called double e-cars, which drive directly behind the regular e-car. The Ruhrbahn emphasizes that the regular and familiar range of e-cars will continue to be used 100 percent.
