Hollow Knight: Silksong will miss its planned launch in the first half of 2023, according to a spokesperson for developer Team Cherry. The sequel was shown in February 2019 and was available as a playable demo during the E3 fair in 2019. Then it took until Microsoft’s Xbox presentation in June 2022 before we learned more about the game, it was then promised that the game would be launched within 12 months of the presentation. How long the delay will be is still unclear.
Hey gang, just a quick update about Silksong.

Hollow Knight: Silksong isn’t the only game from the aforementioned Xbox presentation to miss its release date. During the presentation, it was promised that everything shown would be launched within 12 months, but even Bethesda’s massive RPG Starfield, which got its first big walkthrough during the presentation, will miss the promised launch window. However, Starfield has been given a new release date, the game will be released on September 6 this year.
