Google released the monthly update for the Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, 5, 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7 and 7 Pro this Monday. In addition to the February patch, there is general information about the update, because Google’s February patch again closes all kinds of vulnerabilities in Android, including those classified as critical (including CVE-2022-33243, CVE-2022-33280, CVE-2022-33232 and CVE-2022-40514) and publicly known in the Linux kernel for weeks. Pixel users should be offered the update in a timely manner, while hopefully users of other Android smartphones will also receive an update soon.

What’s new on the Pixel devices:

Accessibility
Fixed an issue that prevented touch interaction with the braille keyboard under certain conditions

Audio
Fixed an issue that occasionally caused instability when Clear Calling is enabled under certain conditions (Pixel 7 / 7 Pro)

Bluetooth
Fixed an issue that occasionally prevents connection with certain Bluetooth devices or accessories

Framework
Fixed an issue that occasionally resulted in the work profile calendar information not updating in the background
