Marcelo Longobardi’s move to Radio Rivadavia is very close to materializing. The absence of the driver -on several occasions- from his cycle every morning on CNN Radio had already given some signs, which were finally confirmed with the lack of its columnists in the latest editions and the renewal of the programming of its eventual new stationwhich prepares everything to receive the driver in his transmissions.
The journalist has starred in the first morning of CNN Radio for a year, but the producers of that radio station decided to change the name of their usual cycle. It went from being called “Longobardi by CNN Radio” to “CNN – Primera Mañana”.
Longobardi’s move to Radio Rivadavia is imminent
Even before the end of 2022 and the start of his vacation, who was the leader of Radio 10 and Miter AM for the last 20 years, he didn’t seem comfortable on CNN. Some interns arose due to the non-payment of salaries of some members of the team, before Longobardi went on vacation. Despite the fact that the journalist hoped to return and for the situation to normalize, that was not the case.
Besides, an accident involving his wife on a bicycle forced him to be absent on several occasions from his program and his columnists – Guillermo “Willy” Kohan and Juan Dillon – did the same, a few days later.
Meanwhile, Rivadavia reinvented its programming in order to receive Longobardi at the same time. Starting this Monday, Ari Paluch takes over driving between 6 and 10; Jonatan Viale follows him, from 10 to 12 (instead of doing 15 to 17); Baby Etchecopar from 12 to 14 (instead of 12 to 15); Cristina Pérez from 14 to 16; Nelson Castro from 16 to 18; Luis Majul from 18 to 20; and Ari Paluch from 20 to 22.
Longobardi would enter the box on the grid that Paluch temporarily occupies.
Longobardi failed to exceed his expectations on CNN Radio and will return to a traditional station.

Five days after the end of your vacation, the journalist Marcelo Longobardi surprised by an unexpected absence in his daily broadcast on CNN Radio. Last Tuesday, January 31, the station’s reference did not arrive at the studio and his colleague, Guillermo Kohan, had to replace him on the air.
As Longobardi himself explained by telephone, the reason for his absence was a bicycle accident that his wife, Laura Palermo, had suffered. The unfortunate event occurred in Key Biscayne, Miami, where the driver lives with his family.
“When I got to the place where had been run over or we don’t know exactly what happened. She had been taken by an ambulance to a hospital called Mercy (…) They treated her quickly and did a lot of studies, she lost consciousness until 6:00 p.m. “, the journalist explained to the radio.
“Obviously she’s hospitalized, we assume safe. He will remain there, I presume one more day or at most two,” he added. Finally, Palermo was admitted to the health center until this Wednesday, but Longobardi decided to suspend all his work commitments and would return on Monday, February 6.
