Kike Teruel announced some time ago that he would leave Los Nocheros, after having been part of the group for 40 years. Now in the official networks of the band they announced that they will give their last show with Teruel within the formation.
Teruel’s farewell to its audience will take place on June 30 at the Arena in Buenos Aires and it will be the only farewell show. From their social networks, Los Nocheros also confirmed that there will be guest artists, although they did not reveal names.
Tickets are already on sale and the band responsible for “I’m going to eat my heart with kisses” promised its followers that this presentation will be “A unique show in its history, with great guest artists.” Tickets can be obtained through the Arena’s official website and prices range from $4,500 to $16,000.
Kike Teruel’s decision to leave Los Nocheros
Some time ago, the singer and leader of Los Nocheros expressed the reasons why he had decided to leave the group. “My decision to retire from Nocheros responds to a call that I feel that my mission to sing is now over. I fulfilled all my dreams, all my goals. I did everything that can be done artistically and professionally, along with the personal part, because I always had brothers, friends and people in the group who made me have a great time, ”he said about his departure.
And he added: “It is simply to step aside so that my person can look for his other mission. My voice and my musical heart remains and dies in Nocheros”. In the post, he also clarified that he maintains a good relationship with his colleagues.
Regarding his plans for the future, despite the disappointment of the fans, Kike will not continue with a solo career: “I will not continue as a soloist. I’m not going to continue singing, I’m not going to do a parallel career at all. What I am going to do? I don’t know, but I felt that it was the moment: I had no ideas for the group and I wanted to leave for a while. It was like playing on a team and giving passes instead of going up front.”

Recently, the folklore group also mourned the death of Noemí Cristina Laspiur, popularly known as “La Moro”, who was the wife of Mario Teruel and also a composer of great songs performed by the band.
