The former Cacique striker details how his first months at Athleltico Paranaense have been.

Luciano Arriagada in Athletico Paranaense

Little by little, Luciano Arriagada is adding minutes in Athletico Paranaense, the team in which he was crowned champion the weekend that just passed. They beat FC Cascavel 2-1 on aggregate.

The former Colo Colo arrived at his current club without a vacation, dedicating himself 100% to physical and soccer training to arrive in the best condition, which actually happened and was praised by his coach.

In conversation with DaleAlbo, Luciano Arriagada showed his happiness for his first title. “Thank God one always dreams of being a champion in the club in which he is and imagine how nice it is that you get it so quickly and just arriving. It is a very good way to start the year, it gives me more motivation than ever to keep working hard to achieve many more important things with this club”, he detailed.

He also added that, “the truth is that the adaptation has been very good, here football is much faster and more intense and when it comes to playing they are quicker to make decisions. I have adapted super well thanks to the training sessions, the coaching staff and the teammates who received me very well from day one. The fact of not taking my vacations and continuing training also helped me, I arrived physically very well at the preseason”.

Finally, he spoke about the competition he has with Vítor Roque, a young promise of 17 years. “The competition for the position is very good. Today Pablo and Vítor are constantly alternating ownership and I am entering the second half. I try to take advantage of every minute and game to earn a place within the team. Vítor is a machine and as a person I am very happy for the moment that is happening ”, he declared.
