The president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, will meet with his counterpart, Alberto Fernández, at the Casa Rosada next Monday as part of his state visit. In addition to the meeting at the government house, she will also sign bilateral agreements and will participate in the Summit of Heads of State of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) on Tuesday at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel.

Lula will land in Argentina on Sunday morning at the Jorge Newbery Aeroparque Military Aerostation in Buenos Aires, where he will be received by Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero, official sources reported.

In his first official visit to the country since his return to government, Lula will begin his activities on Monday at 10:30 a.m., with the traditional Floral Offering to the Liberator General San Martín, and then he will visit the Government House to meet with Alberto Fernández.

In the White Room they will sign together with ministers various agreements for cooperation in Energy Sovereignty and Financial Integration, Defense, Health, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Antarctic Cooperation, according to the Argentine Foreign Ministry in a statement.

At 3:00 p.m., both heads of state will participate in the opening of a Business Meeting at the Bicentennial Museum, to later be part of an activity with representatives of different human rights organizations.

Later, according to the official schedule, at 7:00 p.m. the leaders go to the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), to witness the Concert of the Argentine-Brazilian Brotherhood and the photographic exhibition will be inaugurated: “Indigenous Peoples-Warriors of Time” by Ricardo Stucker.

Finally, on Tuesday 24 at 10 in the morning, Fernández and Lula will participate together with the other presidents, representatives and invited delegations in the VII Summit of Celac Presidents that will take place throughout the day.
