A coach of a high school girls’ youth soccer team in Lynn, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with a series of crimes related to sex with multiple students in 2022, according to Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker. .
Oscar Juarez, 38, of Saugus, was a coach at Lynn Classical High School and is accused of sending unsolicited pornographic images to an 18-year-old student and former player on his team.
In addition, he was said to have groped a youth player and attempted to get an 18-year-old student who used to play on his team, as well as another youth, to have sex with him in 2022, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Juárez pleaded not guilty in Lynn District Court Monday and was ordered held on $10,000 bond, prosecutors said. A judge ordered him to stay away from alleged victims and witnesses and to avoid contact with minors other than his own children.
He is due back in court on September 7.
