Juarez City.- A young man died while playing soccer in the Siglo XXI park in the Senderos de San Isidro subdivision, according to personnel from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM).

This is a 20-year-old man identified as Luis Gerardo M., who vanished in the middle of a game with other people of a similar age and did not respond when checked by his teammates.

They immediately called the emergency number 911, and when the municipal police arrived at the intersection of Senderos de Pamplona and Fundadores streets, they confirmed that Luis Gerardo no longer had vital signs.

Information from the SSPM specifies that upon arrival at the scene, the preventive agents made contact with 41-year-old Lilia CE, who said she was the mother of the deceased and described what happened.

It also transpired that Luis Gerardo was a person with a disability, although his condition was not specified.

Elements of the North Zone District Prosecutor’s Office and the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) arrived at the scene. The latter will be the one to determine the causes of the young man’s death.
