A man was the victim of a “carjacking” that occurred at about 5:38 pm on Thursday, on PR-1 in front of a fast food restaurant, in Cayey.
According to the police report, it was a call to 9-1-1 that alerted to the situation. When the agents arrived, the injured party informed them that while he was at the scene, two individuals carrying firearms approached him and stripped him of his vehicle. Toyota RAV-4, white, from the year 2020, with the plate JIS-837.
The assailants left the place without causing physical harm to the complainant.
The case was referred to the Robbery Division of the Caguas Criminal Investigation Corps.
