The arrest report – cited by America Teve– reveals that shortly before 11:30 am on Thursday the woman was taking “a nap” and that when she woke up she found the subject next to the door of her room completely naked and with scissors in her hands.
He asked her to give him oral sex while threatening her with the scissors. The woman managed to push him and leave her apartment in search of help.
“According to the ongoing investigation, it appears this male appeared at the victim’s apartment, once officers arrived on scene he was attempting to flee the area. Somehow, he managed to gain access to the building and the apartment, while the woman was sleeping. According to the 50-year-old victim, he asked her to do inappropriate sexual activity, ”she said in statements to the aforementioned outlet Kiara Delva, spokeswoman for the Miami police.
The unique event occurred in apartment 303 of condominium 1801, located on fourth avenue in northeast Miami.
“She was screaming, trying to get someone to help her, I asked her what had happened and she told me that there was a man in her apartment naked with scissors and that he had tried to rape her, so what I did was bring her into my apartment and call to the police, while some patrol arrived,” said the neighbor.
When the Miami police officers arrived at the condo, they found the suspect on the roof of the building wearing the victim’s clothing and shoes. He also had the woman’s purse.
At the time of his arrest, the defendant identified himself as Gabriel Núñez, however, a face check revealed that his real name is Pedro Angel Gonzalez Torres. He has not revealed his nationality of origin.
The biggest unknown is how the subject managed to enter the victim’s apartment without her noticing.
“She says the door wasn’t forced and the door she always kept closed, the only thing I can think of is the balcony, but I don’t know how the guy would climb three floors from bottom to top and how he was naked on the street, because he entered the apartment undressed,” added the neighbor.
Pedro Ángel González Torres appeared in court this Friday, accused of multiple charges that include robbery, attempted sexual assault and falsification of his name.
The defendant was denied bail and will remain in TGK jail.
