In the early hours of this Tuesday, a man stabbed another to death and, although the causes are being investigated, it is presumed that it was to steal a marijuana plant. The dramatic event took place in the neighboring city of Berisso and, according to police sources, the attacker has already been arrested.
As revealed, the attack took place in a house on Calle 11 between 151 and 152, where the victim, Maximiliano Francisco Oscar Alves, resided. The attacker appeared at the place to, presumably, buy him a marijuana plant, but for reasons that are still being determined, both argued strongly and the attacker ended up stabbing him in the chest, abdomen, and groin..
Still conscious when the SAME ambulance arrived, Álves reported that he had let a man into his home, who injured him and stole at least one marijuana plant.
According to official reports, the victim suffered serious injuries and was transferred in a reserved state to the Berisso Hospital, where he bled to death minutes later. Based on the testimonies of neighbors and witnesses, and following the trail that he had left the marijuana plant in the street, officers identified the assailant 25-year-old, named Lucas Buffi, who was at his house 148 bis corner 16 and was arrested and brought before the Justice.
