Jalisco.- The man who followed his wife and her mother-in-law to the Poncitlán Public Ministry and murdered them in front of officials was arrested in Nayarit, reported the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro.
“He is already detained. This morning I told them that we would not rest until we found and brought to justice the alleged femicide of Liliana and Alondra, cowardly murdered in the Public Ministry of Poncitlán, when they went to denounce their attacker, “he published on his social networks .
Cristofer Gerardo, as he was unofficially identified, was arrested with the cooperation of the Nayarit Prosecutor’s Office, according to Alfaro.
“Rest assured that he will receive the full weight of the law. Later, the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office will report all the details,” he added.
The man had been on the run since yesterday afternoon when he shot his partner Alondra Liliana Franco Tinoco, 21, and her mother-in-law, Liliana Tinoco Tovar, 45, with a short weapon.
He had abandoned his vehicle in the middle of the street and entered the Public Ministry Agency because it does not have filters, since it is a house.
“We are already working on the search for this subject, we are working in coordination with the Municipal Police and the National Guard, we bring some information that the subject could have been seen in the vicinity of here in the area,” explained yesterday the Prosecutor of Jalisco, Luis Joaquin Mendez Ruiz.
Sources close to the case reported that it was the second time that Alondra Liliana had gone to the public prosecutor’s office to report family violence.
