Unterfoehring, April 28, 2023 – Manchester City seems to have taken control of the title race on the island in time for the final spurt of the season. After the dominant 4-1 win against leaders FC Arsenal on Wednesday evening, the “Citizens” are still two points behind the top of the table, but have played two games less than the “Gunners” so far. If the defending champion doesn’t allow himself a slip at the weekend, he could climb to first place with his catch-up game next Wednesday.

Sky will broadcast the Premier League live every day from Saturday through Thursday. During this period, Sky will broadcast all ten games of matchday 34 live and exclusively, as well as the three catch-up games of matchday 28.

Three games will kick off on Saturday: Crystal Palace against West Ham United from 1.20 p.m., Brighton & Hove Albion against Wolverhampton Wanderers and FC Brentford against Nottingham Forest from 3.50 p.m. open the 34th matchday.

Sky will broadcast four games in parallel on Sunday from 2:50 p.m. Defending champions Manchester City can jump to the top of the table, at least temporarily, with a win at Fulham. At the same time, city rivals Manchester United are welcoming the side from Aston Villa, which has developed from relegation candidates to contenders for European competition since coach Unai Emery took office in October. The other two games of the afternoon are Newcastle United against bottom FC Southampton and the basement duel between AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United.

Afterwards, Sky will broadcast the “Match of the Week” between Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur from 5 p.m., in which both teams will at least fight for participation in the UEFA Europa League. Sky expert René Adler, Raphael Honigstein and Florian Schmidt-Sommerfeld welcome the spectators to the duel on Anfield Road. Exclusively for Sky Q customers, the top game on Sky Sport UHD is also available in Ultra HD.

With Leicester City and Everton FC, two relegation candidates meet on Monday evening. Sky reports live from 8.50 p.m. from the direct duel in the table cellar. The 34th matchday will then be completed on Tuesday evening. The match between Arsenal FC and Chelsea is also presented by Sky as “Match of the Week”. From 8.30 p.m. Sky expert Mladen Petric, Raphael Honigstein and Florian Schmidt-Sommerfeld will report with the London city duel.

On Wednesday and Thursday it continues seamlessly with three catch-up games from the 28th matchday. Manchester City versus West Ham United and Liverpool FC versus Fulham FC are the pairings on Wednesday evening from 8:50 p.m. At the same time on Thursday evening, Brighton & Hove Albion host Manchester United and want revenge for last weekend’s narrow FA Cup semi-final defeat.
