"Many times I slept with people to have a place to sleep"

The Cuban singer Eduardo Antonio He publicly confessed that when he was young in his country he had to sleep many times with people to have a place to sleep.

In an interview with his great friend, the presenter Carluchothe interpreter revealed that he also spent many nights in the capital’s bus terminal.

“People don’t know that I slept many times in the Havana Bus Terminal, and many times I slept with people to have a place to sleep,” he said.

All these hard experiences, far from making him bitter, ended up forging a generous and supportive character in him and have determined his way of being with those most in need.

“That’s why, in my house, in our house, no one goes without food and I don’t leave anyone on the street. But life simply puts everyone in their place and at the moment,” he said.

Eduardo Antonio was born in 1967 in Placetas, municipality of Villa Clara. He became known in Cuba as a performer of peasant music and little by little he moved on to ballads and pop.
