The Health for All program (Toj Óolal Ti’al Tu Láakalo’on in the Mayan language) contemplates bringing the most vulnerable population in the state closer to free comprehensive health services for detection, care and diagnosis through 42 mobile care units that will visit more than 300 communities of Quintana Roo in the remainder of the year.
From the Chumpón dome, accompanied by the municipal presidents and after touring each of the units stationed around it, Mara Lezama informed the people of Quintana Roo that the mobile medical units are starting operations today.
From April 12 to 14 they will be in Chumpón, Kancapchén, La Esperanza, Yuyanché, Cocoyol, Chunhon, Chunya, Chanchén, Yodzonot Chico, Kancabdzonot, X Hazil Norte and Francisco I. Madero.
In each one you will find medications, comprehensive medical consultation, dental office, x-rays, ultrasound, mammography, clinical laboratory, optometry (lenses), hearing aids, nutritional and psychological guidance.
Mara Lezama highlighted that, as a social fighter and the first female governor of Quintana Roo, she is very concerned about directing the government’s efforts to transform lives, create opportunities for all and guarantee that the spirit of the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo is materialize in every corner of the entity.
For the profound transformation of Quintana Roo, the governor Mara Lezama He recalled that in this government that promotes shared prosperity, superfluous expenses were cut and the salaries of public servants in the cabinet were lowered, the gaps through which money escaped were closed, doors are knocked on in the federation, alliances are made with the social sector and, mainly, this year the largest social budget in history was allocated to the attention and care of people.
He also announced that for the first time in history, Felipe Carrillo Puerto will have its way to the sea, with the support of the federal government.
The municipal president Mary Hernández, for her part, expressed that with the support of the Governor, Felipe Carrillo Puerto has advanced by leaps and bounds, since in terms of health there will be a new hospital of 600 million pesos. In addition, she said that in 88 communities of the municipality there is a good image of the government of the transformation.
In this framework, Governor Mara Lezama, accompanied by the Secretary of Health and symbolically delivered 45 wheelchairs and 45 canes.
