Mexico City.- Maribel Guardia was introduced to the media as the new host of the Unicable Talk Show, This is Personal.
The producer Alexis Núñez highlighted the details of the choice of the actress for the program where guests will present and debate their points of view on a conflict that affects them personally.
“We are very proud to have Maribel, Unicable is a Talk Shows factory, we have the best hosts in Spanish and that Maribel joins that group is the cherry on the cake.
“He is one of the people with whom it is easier to work, he has a wonderful heart to attend to the cases that are presented, based on his experience he brings something very special to the program,” Núñez confessed.
Accompanied by specialists, the interpreter of “Tú Y Yo” will seek to guide the participants to find the best solution.
“It is a format of human contact that is what I like, I love listening to people, I think this program will allow me, I love it when people tell me their problems, I am always one of those who He puts his spoon in and I think and advise them, so I like this program very much,” said the actress.
Esto es Personal will be broadcast from Monday to Friday, starting February 6, at 7:00 p.m. on Unicable and will address various topics of daily life, such as infidelity in the relationship, problems with mothers-in-law, betrayals and more.
“The interesting thing about the program is not what happens here, it’s what happens at home because people realize that everyone has problems and they begin to understand that if there is no discussion there is no solution,” added the producer.
The program represents a new facet in her artistic career for the 63-year-old Costa Rican, and for the first time she will host her own program.
“Something that has kept me current is that I have always opened several windows, I have been a conductor, a singer, I have done musical theater, and that has kept me with different audiences that in the end a great range has been made, that’s why I see this as a great opportunity,” he said.
The singer also assured that she does not pretend to be a psychologist for those who present themselves to expose their problems but to serve as a guide according to their experience.
“No subject scares me, I have started to cry with them, because at the moment you get the emotion out of what they are experiencing. I will not be a psychologist, I advise according to my experience and what I have lived, “he commented. .
Guardia affirmed that he does not see similar programs like those hosted by Laura Bozzo or Rocío Sánchez Azuara as competition, where people also expose the problems of daily life.
“They are queens, in the case of Laura, she is my friend and I love her very much. I think I have a lot to learn from them but I prefer not to see what they do because I want to be me and not be inspired by any even though I know they are goddesses and I hope to have the luck that they have had”, he concluded.
