When 57-year-old Marina Brynildsen wanted to clean out of the holiday home, there was a handsome and well-worn man in the corner, collecting more and more dust. Determined that this gentleman would now have a new and lucky owner, she published a sales advertisement on Finn.no.
Little did she know that the inquiries would pour in – but there is still one thing standing in the way of her being able to finish the assignment.
– Almost too pretty!
Brynildsen is originally from Sarpsborg, but currently lives in Halden. About seven years ago, she was lucky enough to come across an ad for this doll. She fell in love in no time.
– I am very happy about it, and he is a dream man. He is very handsome – almost too handsome, she tells TV 2.

In the ad, she writes the following: “Great showman. He has no arms, or legs. No penis either. He is handsome and has very white teeth. The best thing is that he is mute, and little used. Buyer pays shipping. The stand/pole is adjustable, so that you determine the height of him. Can be sent”.
She bought it from a woman on Facebook who specialized in retro antiques. The doll is from 1968 – the same year that another love of her life was born.
It is therefore not easy to let go of the doll, but since she is going to sell the holiday home in Sweden – he simply does not want a place.
– He will drown next to the section that I have to have because of storage, but I don’t think I will sell him if I have to send it, she says.

The problem is that it is so large that it is difficult to send it in the post. It must keep dimensions below 120 x 60 x 60 – but it is demanding to fit in a box when the upper body is 95 centimeters high.
Many make strict demands on the man of their dreams, and if height is important to you – you can adjust it to your preference.

– It’s so funny, because under his breasts you can see the ribs! He is very elaborate, and is from the same year as my husband – 1968, she says before stating:
– But my husband has the vital organs and joints that he doesn’t have, then.
Got a sex offer
The response afterwards has exploded and the messages are pouring in. Some nice, some bold – and others who are simply a little on the edge.
Some hope that the poor man is not a blow-up sex doll.

– Among other things, I received a message that said: “You can use my arms, legs and penis for NOK 100”! I wouldn’t answer that. I also had one say: “I’ll be damned if it’s a blow-up sex doll” – but hello! You see it’s a mannequin.
Furthermore, Brynildsen says that she has pangs of conscience, because there are so many people who are interested in the man of her dreams.
– I am very much between a rock and a hard place. I have a guilty conscience now, because there is a lady who contacted me. She said she wanted him because she has his girl! She therefore has a doll from the same era, only as a girl, she says.

Secret love mission
But despite having difficulty choosing who will be allowed to own the doll, she has a secret mission underway:

Whom she will sell the doll to has not yet been decided, but whoever is allowed to display it in their living room is very lucky. Because for almost ten years he has been with her, completely naked – with the exception of a tie.
