The Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg now apparently goes to martial arts Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) after. “Went to my first jiu juitsu tournament and got some medals for that Guerilla Jiu Jitsu Team won,” he writes on Facebook. The medals are a gold and a silver medal.

Zuckerberg also shared several photos from the tournament showing him ground fighting. In the Facebook post, the 38-year-old Facebook founder also thanks his coaches Dave Camarillo, Khai Wu und James Terry. However, it is not known when and where the tournament took place.

Interest already expressed in 2022

Zuckerberg expressed his newfound interest in various sports during the pandemic, including Mixed Martial Arts, end of 2022 on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. This also includes BJJ. It is a modification of the Japanese martial arts judo and jiu-jitsu that focuses on ground fighting.
