Martial Profile, the app that aims to develop athletes

MIAMI.- Félix Izarra and Fabianny Crespo are two young people Venezuelans whose interest in sport led them to combine their knowledge in application development and digital marketing to create Martial Profile, a platform that seeks to help athletes professionals or amateurs to achieve their physical goals.

Mainly, the application was developed with the objective that contact sports professionals could train from home and record their progress without the use of smart watches, as these disciplines require it.

Izarra is also a martial arts professional and wanted to respond to the needs of his colleagues, since other apps require this object to record the progress of each training.

However, while the young people were establishing the keys to Martial Profile, they realized that there were many physical activities that were not contemplated by other applications. This is how his proposal ended up bringing together more than 40 disciplines.

Record of evolution

The Venezuelans established a menu in which their affiliates empty their data, and with each use of the app It is updated with timely information about the training carried out. In this way athletes can trackear their progress.

This is the feature that its creators consider to be the maximum added value.

“It was difficult for martial arts people to track their progress because most applications require the Apple Watch. What we want to do is for the athlete to have an organized way of trackear training and can evaluate how far their performance has advanced,” Fabianny Crespo explained to DIARIO LAS AMÉRICAS.

“The thing about martial arts is that you can’t have anything on your wrists. We make it easier through the app’s statistics. We made a menu for them to record the training and download it in the future,” he added.

Likewise, he pointed out that they are constantly updating the application and working on improvements that users share, such as adding artificial intelligence to the tool that will help record the hours practiced.

Receptivity

Martial Profile was launched at the end of 2023, and in a short time it exceeded the expectations of its creators.

The goal for December was 500 users, but to date they had exceeded that number. Venezuelans, who reside in the United States, celebrate that the feedback they have received from users is positive, especially from residents of Latin America and the United States.

“The fact that we have so many disciplines available in the application stands out very well for us. The catalog is much larger and we listened to a niche that no one was paying attention to to offer the service and address that need. That also drove us,” Fabianny said.

Although they have considered charging a subscription, Félix and Fabianny assure that it will be something in the distant future, since it will only happen when the tool provides an improved experience than what it currently offers, with new options.

Martial Profile is currently available free of charge on Android y IOSand can be downloaded in Spanish and English.

“We want to help keep the athlete motivated. Our app is not only for professionals, it is for athletes who are starting out around the world. We have the top 10 and depending on how many hours you practice you can appear in that ranking and it helps you connect with more people. Practice will push them to be professionals, perseverance and discipline help you reach the goal you set for yourself. When you start, one of the ways to reach the goal is to track and that is a good way through Martial Profile”, concluded Crespo.
