Roberto Martínez is the new coach of the Portugal national team. The national football association FPF announced the signing of the 49-year-old Spaniard this Monday. There is currently no information on the contract period.
At the 2022 World Cup, Martínez was still the coach of the Belgian national team, but failed with them in the preliminary round. As a result, he had to vacate the post he had held since 2016. The bottom line is that the 49-year-old didn’t manage to win a title with the so-called golden generation of Belgians.
