The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa today reiterated his request to avoid “sterile fights” and the need to work to “solve the problems of the present”, by inaugurating an America gas pipeline that connects the municipalities of Rivadavia with Trenque Lauquen in the province of Buenos Aires.

“It must be said with all the letters, those of us who govern have to demonstrate how we solve the problems of the present and how we design the future and not waste time in sterile internships that only solve political vanities,” emphasized the Minister of Economy who was accompanied by the governor of the province Axel Kicillof and the secretary of Energy Fernanda Royón.

The head of the Palacio de Hacienda had already expressed himself in these terms yesterday during the closing of the business forum AmCham Summit 2023where he affirmed that “settling the differences” of the Frente de Todos (FdT) in the PASO would be a “very serious mistake”, and clarified that if the internal dispute in the government coalition goes through an “individual position” he prefers “to look at it from the side “.

In that business forum, Massa said: “A government, even though it is a coalition government, has the obligation to provide certainty. We don’t have to fight in public, but indoors. This exposing in primaries whether or not there are differences It is a very serious error, what it does is generate uncertainty, and we are here to provide certainty”.

This noon, the minister highlighted that the work on the América gas pipeline is an example of “coordinated work, when the Nation, the provincial government, the municipalities work together; when we do not waste time in sterile fights.”
