The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sends a message to Algerians on the occasion of World Workers’ Day in which he returned to the important decisions taken in recent years.

Indeed, today, Monday 1st 2023, in his message, President Tebboune expressed his belief in the importance of the human element which constitutes the basis for sustainable development and the creation of wealth.

Similarly, the Head of State mentioned the gradual increase in the guaranteed national minimum wage (SNMG), the increase in retirement pensions, the total overhaul of the global income tax scale (IRG) and the tenure of contract workers to improve workers’ conditions.

The President of the Republic also addressed the institutionalization of a leave to allow workers who so wish to create their own businesses.

He also expressed his recognition and gratitude to the women and men who contribute to the advancement of Algeria and the well-being of citizens.

Tebboune affirms the improvements and the creation of more than half a million CDIs

The President of the Republic affirmed his conviction that the human element is the basis of sustainable development and the pillar of wealth creation.

Stressing that since 2020, we can note the improvement in the conditions of workers who are at the heart of the concerns of the State. By progressive measures to increase the value of the guaranteed national wage, abolish the tax on low-income people, increase wages and grant retirement pensions.

To conclude, Tebboune returned to the professional integration of contract holders in permanent positions, which made it possible to employ in a short time more than half a million workers in permanent positions.
