Mediaset España is already preparing what will be its programming from September, the date on which the new television season begins. A new grill where ‘Save me’ will not be there after fourteen years of history on the small screenbut yes ‘Gran Hermano VIP’ that returns to Telecinco after several years of absence as a result of the ‘Carlota Prado’ case, and with a new presenter: Marta Flich.

‘Sálvame’ says goodbye to its audience this June 23, leaving thousands of viewers orphaned who every afternoon tuned into the main Mediaset channel to enjoy the company of Belén Esteban, Kiko Hernández or María Patiño, among others. During the summer months, Sandra Barneda will be in charge of occupying that time slot with the program ‘Así es la vida’ which will culminate in September with the arrival of Ana Rosa Quintana.

Ana Rosa, new queen of the evenings

After more than two decades in the mornings of Telecinco, Ana Rosa Quintana makes the leap to the afternoons to become the new television rival of Sonsoles Ónega. This Friday, the digital portal ‘Vertele’ exclusively reveals the name of the new format that will occupy the slot of ‘Save me’ for September: ‘TardeAR’.

In this way, the managers once again resort to a play on words with the name of their iconic host, the same as what already happened with ‘The AR program’. Telecinco’s new bet will be a “daily current affairs format, which will combine information and entertainment”. “There would be no politics, of any kind. Absolutely not. The new program will try to entertain in a cheerful and lively way and will have to respect the Code of Ethics”, points out Alessandro Salem, CEO of the group.
