After disappearing from radar screens for several years, the manufacturer Medion is coming back stronger than ever.

The manufacturer Medion may be telling you a few things since before being bought by Lenovo more than 10 years ago, the brand offered several tech devices, including PCs for gamers. And 2023 marks the year of his return. The opportunity to offer state-of-the-art PCs, with the best, especially on the GPU side. The manufacturer is thus launching two very powerful laptops.

Medion: the return

The two laptops for gamers are therefore the Medion ERAZER Beast X40 and the Medion ERAZER Major X20. The first of them is simply a beast. It is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU from the brand new NVIDIA 40 series. All benefits from G-Sync for its screen which also offers QHD definition (via a 17-inch panel) for a 240 Hz refresh rate.

To accompany the graphics card, there is an Intel Core I9-13900HX engine, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Yes, Medion wants to hit very hard for its return. Icing on the cake, it has a mechanical keyboard (something very rare on a laptop) CHERRY MX Ultra low profile. Note, however, that a configuration also exists based on RTX 4080, which is a little less expensive. It will still take between 3700 and 4700 euros to get it.

The other model is the Medion ERAZER Major X20. More affordable around 2350 euros, it consists of an RTX 4070 GPU, an Intel Core i9 and a 16-inch 16:10 QHD 240 Hz screen. It also incorporates a CHERRY MX Low Profile mechanical keyboard, 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. The X40 will be available from February 10 while the X20 will be available from February 20. As is often the case with manufacturers, the very top of the range is always available a little earlier.
