Anything different than expected?

If Charles III. (74) will be crowned the new King of England on May 6th, SHE will not be there: Duchess Meghan (41), wife of scandal Prince Harry (38). While her husband travels to London for a flying visit, Meghan stays with the children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1) in Montecito, California, where she celebrates her son’s fourth birthday.

Since her cancellation, there has been much speculation about the reasons for Meghan’s absence. Among other things, she is said to have been offended because she is not allowed to wave with the other royals from the palace balcony. Some even believe that the Duchess does not want to let her sister-in-law, Princess Kate (40), stop the show. And then there is a mysterious letter…

“It’s all nonsense,” says author Omid Scobie, who is considered the unofficial spokesman for the Sussexes.

Was a letter from Charles to blame for the rift with Meghan?

Not only Meghan’s coldly rejected tough demands are said to be to blame for their cancellation of the coronation. The British “Telegraph” believes it knows that a letter caused the drama.

The British newspaper reported last week that King Charles wrote a letter to his daughter-in-law in 2021 after Meghan’s scandalous interview with Oprah Winfrey (69), in which she accused the royals of racism, to smooth things over. In it he expressed his regret at the rift between the Sussex couple and the royal family. But there was also criticism, since the public allegations against the palace were very harsh.

Meghan replied Charles Although by letter, she is said to have disagreed with her father-in-law’s statements. British media, including the Times, see the correspondence as the real reason for Meghan’s refusal to attend Charles’ coronation.

Meghan’s confidante Omid Scobie contradicted this on Twitter. In a tweet, which he described as a “statement from Team Sussex,” he said: “The Duchess of Sussex is taking care of her life in the present and is not reflecting on a correspondence that dates back two years and pertains to conversations between four years ago. Any other claim is false and, frankly, ridiculous. We ask the tabloids and other royal pundits to end this tiresome circus that only they created.”

Oh! It seems that the last word on this matter has not yet been spoken…
