PARIS — Lionel Messi didn’t mind the boos during his last game for Paris Saint Germain, already crowned French league champions, who lost 3-2 to Clermont on Saturday.

Club supporters booed Messi when his name was uttered from the loudspeakers at the Parc des Princes as part of the line-up on a warm afternoon.

A few minutes later, the Argentine entered the field, smiling and holding his three children’s hands.

The group photo came and kisses to the little ones on the forehead, before the initial clearance.

“I would like to thank the club, the city of Paris and its people for these two years. I wish them the best for the future,” Messi said on the squad’s website.

In two seasons with PSG, Messi won two French league titles and the nation’s Champions Trophy, as well as scoring 32 goals and lavishing 35 assists in various competitions.

Messi’s future is uncertain amid versions that point to his return to Barcelona.

There is also talk that he could join Inter Miami.
