LEON, Gto. (apro).- A second person could be involved in the femicide of Milagros Montserrat, declared Ernestina, mother of the woman murdered on Thursday the 10th on a street in this city.
During the march held in the center of León to demand justice for Milagros -convened by feminist organizations- Ernestina said that new videos that have been reviewed show that Miguel de Jesús, the man identified as responsible, received a call while he was following the women.
Ernestina and other relatives of Milagros Montserrat walked in front of the contingent that reached the Municipal Presidency, where banners were left and signs such as “Femicide Municipality” were painted on the walls.
“I was already waiting for her… before he did this he received a call, you can see it in the video, as if telling him that he was already there,” he mentioned.
A reporter asked him if he thinks there is someone behind the perpetrator. “Yes, yes,” replied Milagros’s mother.
He recalled that the murder occurred just two blocks from his house, when his daughter was on her way to work.
Although she mentioned that the authorities “have not told us much”, Ernestina also pointed out that on Friday the prosecution hearing against Miguel will resume, presented as the alleged perpetrator by the State Prosecutor’s Office, and in which the judge will define his situation. before the accusation for femicide that he faces.
Miguel turned himself in to authorities through a 911 call made shortly after 8 p.m. Friday, the day after the crime.
The man was in the state capital, between a gas station and the “Juan José Torres Landa” sports unit, in the Noria Alta neighborhood.
According to the part of the Municipal Police, in the call the man specified “that he wanted to turn himself in.”
