After having released several advances, Miranda!, the Argentine group made up of Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas, released their long-awaited new album “Hotel Miranda!”, where they celebrate their more than two decades of musical career and review their repertoire full of hits.
For this new studio material, the band, which is synonymous with pop and hits throughout Latin America, invited colleagues of different styles and generations to re-record, with a renewed sound, the songs that marked an era.
After the successful previews “Uno los dos” with Emilia, “Yo te dire” with Lali, “Don” with Ca7riel, “Navidad” with Bandalos Chinos and “Prisionero” with Cristian Castro, the accommodation commanded by the mysterious owners Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas, opens its doors.
These guests are joined by Francisca Valenzuela in “Enamorada”, Chano for “Mentía” and Sofía Reyes in “I already knew”.
In addition, several renowned producers such as Big One, Jay De La Cueva, Didi Gutman, Brian Taylor, Evlay, Cachorro López, Renzo Lucca, Gabriel Lucena and Mauro De Tomasso were invited to the project.
The last preview of the album came out a few hours ago: “Perfecta”, together with María Becerra and FMK. In fact, this song was surprisingly performed for the first time in front of an ecstatic Luna Park at the recent FMK show.
Like every guest, María Becerra and FMK become hotel employees, in a video clip that refers to both the original piece and the film “Alice in Wonderland.”
All the video clips of “Hotel Miranda!” They are directed and directed by Melanie Anton and open up a visual universe, loaded with references to cinematographic and popular culture.
Regarding the album, Ale Sergi stated: “Our new album is the most ambitious project we have embarked on. Reversions of our classics with guest singers and different producers. To all this we add the idea that the record is an audiovisual work. Each song has its video, and all the videos are linked together in a sequence that shows the day-to-day activities of the peculiar Hotel Miranda! and their mysterious owners”.
“It would have been impossible to carry out all this work without the contribution and generosity of everyone involved. Everyone collaborated in a very professional manner, without neglecting the emotional side that working on songs aroused that for many have been company at different times. In fact , everyone gave so much that it felt like they made the album for us. We gave everyone total freedom to interpret, arrange, rewrite and everything they proposed to us we liked and it always turned out better than what we had imagined. Without a doubt, it will be a watershed in our career and we feel proud and eager to finally share the result of a job that took us almost two years between planning and realization,” added the singer.
It is worth mentioning that the great presentation of “Hotel Miranda!” will take place on April 21, 22 and 23 at the Teatro Gran Rex, with tickets completely sold out. In addition, the group added four functions at the Luna Park Stadium for October 4, 5, 6 and 7.
